A customer from Djibouti recently purchased two wood carbonization furnaces from Shuliy to start a new charcoal production business. Using wood logs as the raw material, the customer selected the SL-200 and SL-500 horizontal carbonization furnaces. Two charcoal making machines with a combined charcoal production capacity of about 600 kg per day.

The customer from Djibouti was planning to develop charcoal production as a new business. He had access to wood logs that could be used as the main raw material and needed suitable wood carbonization furnaces to turn the wood into charcoal.
Why choose two wood carbonization furnaces?
The main requirement was to build a practical charcoal production setup for the new business while keeping production flexible.
Shuliy recommended two models according to the customer’s raw material and expected output:
- SL-200: 150 kg charcoal/day
- SL-500: 450 kg charcoal/day
Together, the two wood carbonization furnaces can produce approximately 600 kg of charcoal per day. The different furnace capacities also allow the customer to select a suitable machine according to the size of each wood log batch.
Equipment production and confirmation
After the order was confirmed, we started producing the SL-200 and SL-500 wood carbonization furnaces according to the agreed specifications.
After production was completed, we took photos of the finished machines and sent them to the customer for confirmation. The customer checked the equipment remotely and confirmed that everything was ready for shipment.
