Recently, an Angolan customer purchased a horizontal carbonization furnace for processing forestry waste into charcoal.
The customer required a furnace with enough internal space to handle a relatively large batch while maintaining stable carbonization performance. Based on the required processing capacity, we provided a charcoal carbonization furnace with a 1,000–1,300 kg batch capacity and a 7.94 m³ internal volume.

Why choose a horizontal charcoal making machine?
The customer’s raw materials are mainly agricultural and forestry waste, which can be difficult to handle efficiently when accumulated in large quantities. Instead of simply disposing of these materials, the customer planned to convert them into useful charcoal through carbonization.
For this application, a horizontal carbonization furnace was selected because its cylindrical chamber provides sufficient loading space for bulk biomass materials. The relatively large chamber also allows the customer to process a substantial amount of raw material in each batch.
Horizontal carbonization furnace configuration
The furnace was designed according to the customer’s required batch capacity and working conditions. Its main specifications are:
| パラメータ | Specification |
|---|---|
| Raw material | Agricultural and forestry waste |
| 能力 | 1,000–1,300 kg/batch |
| Internal diameter | 1.5 m |
| Internal length | 4.5 m |
| Internal volume | 7.94 m³ |
| 機械寸法 | 4.8 × 1.7 × 2.1 m |
| Main body thickness | 10 mm |
| Outer wall thickness | 3 mm (2.75 mm) |
specifications of the horizontal carbonization machine
The 1.5 m diameter × 4.5 m length carbonization chamber provides 7.94 m³ of internal volume, giving the customer adequate space for loading agricultural and forestry waste.
Equipment production and delivery
After confirming the specifications, we manufactured the horizontal carbonization furnace according to the customer’s requirements. Once production was completed, we checked the main dimensions and sent photos of the finished machine to the customer for confirmation. After approval, the furnace was properly packed and shipped to Angola.
