What is the carbonization process?
The carbonization process of horizontal carbonization furnace mainly includes the following steps:
Loading raw materials
Firstly, put the raw materials to be carbonized (e.g. wood, branches, etc.) into the silo of the horizontal carbonization furnace.
Pre-heating stage
Start the charcoal carbonizer machine and raise the temperature inside the furnace through the pre-heating stage to achieve the temperature conditions required for carbonization.
Carbonization stage
Once the temperature inside the furnace reaches a suitable level, the carbonization stage begins. In an oxygen-deficient environment, the raw materials are gradually heated and decomposed, releasing gases and volatiles which are eventually converted into charcoal.
Cooling and collection
Upon completion of carbonization, the hydrothermal carbonization machine is turned off and the produced charcoal is removed from the furnace for collection once the temperature inside the furnace has been reduced to a safe level.
