Preparation

First of all, the sawdust briquettes made by the wood sawdust briquette maker need to be initially prepared. This involves selecting suitable raw materials such as sawdust, rice husk, coconut shell, etc., and compressing them into dense rods.

These raw materials should be dry before entering the charcoal furnace to improve charring efficiency and product quality.

Entering the charcoal furnace

The prepared biomass briquettes are put into the charring furnace. Both our horizontal charcoal oven and vertical charcoal machine are capable of handling this task.

These two are suitable for small, medium-scale, and large-scale production and can realize fully automatic production processes.

Preheating stage

After the charcoal furnace is started, it first enters the preheating stage. At this time, the heat source is provided by burning waste wood or other flammable materials.

When the temperature inside the furnace reaches about 90℃, it starts to increase the temperature gradually. The whole preheating process takes about 1 hour, during which LPG can be used to assist the ignition.

Carbonization stage

When the temperature inside the furnace reaches 280°C to 330°C, it enters the charring stage. At this point, the high temperature inside the charcoal furnace gradually breaks down the biomass rods into charcoal.

The exact time needed for the charring process depends on the raw material and temperature control.

Cooling stage

After carbonization, the charcoal needs to be cooled.

Our charcoal furnaces are equipped with cooling systems such as condenser tubes and cooling tanks to ensure that the charcoal is cooled in a low-temperature environment to avoid secondary combustion and quality loss.

Discharging and packaging

The cooled briquette charcoal is taken out of the charcoal oven and packaged after simple screening and sorting. High-quality charcoal can be used in many fields such as barbecue, heating and industrial fuel, which is widely demanded in the market.
